How to Take Care of Construction Hands
The hell man hands go through, you don't even know.
Or maybe you do.
If there's one thing that lays waste to man hands, it's labour. And yet, rough man hands fetch respect from the world. People love a man who can use his hands. It's always been that way, and it'll be that way 'till the robots usurp us all.
To a labourer, contractor or construction worker, nothing matters more than having strong hands. Strong hands make it rain for men at work, as they should. Not everyone's cut out for back breaking work, and the prize should match the effort.
Man hands pull ropes and chains, grip jagged bricks and, as a result, build callouses so thick you couldn't cut them with a knife (not that we've tried).
Man hands get accidentally sliced, sizzled and scalded in kitchens across the world, too. Man hands 'round the world suffer splinters, saw cuts, and electric shocks on the regular.
Good gloves help curb the beating man hands take, sure. But even then, they won't solve dermal dryness and callous formation caused by constant friction. Just ask a jackhammer operator, or a boxer.
Man hands pump iron, punch things, and pull weight twice a man's size.
Man hands built this world, and as such, they need good care. Our Active Relief Hand Cream wasn't made exclusively for men at work. Oh no.
In fact, guys across this continent count on it during the winter, when cold winds turn skin to stone (read: less moisture in the air = less moisture in your skin). That's why we put some Shea butter and avocado oil in the stuff—both will hydrate hides like nothing else.
But, both will sooth and calm hands that've seen it all.
And to those wondering, our hand cream's anything but greasy. Once you rub it in, it'll take a mere minute to be absorbed by your dermis. Just don't use more than, say, a teaspoon. And don't forget the grooves between your fingers.
Being good to one's hands isn't the mark of old age.
It just means you take care of yourself.
