Best Of The Web: Vol. 4
Welcome to our monthly news roundup, Best of the Web, a curation content you may have missed of late—the kind worthy of your attention (notice how we dodged politics?).
If you know of a great website, podcast, shop or anything else a man of taste would enjoy, drop us a line at info@crownshavingco.com. There’s a chance we’ll publish your recommendation. And if you like, we’ll even give you a shout-out right here on this blog. No joke.
For yet another November, men the world over of follicular fortitude and good will are sporting moustaches.
To the uninitiated, we do this to shine a light on big health issues that plague men today, particularly ones of most prevalence, like testicular and prostate cancer, post-traumatic stress disorder, and suicide, the last of which claims mostly men out of an “estimated” 4,000 suicide deaths that sadly transpire every year in our country of Canada — 75%, to be exact.
Know that when you buy from us this month, we’ll be forwarding a portion of those funds to the Movember foundation, a homegrown initiative charged with spreading the good word.
If you have a brother, a father, or even a friend who’s seen better days, this money goes toward bettering the mental health care or physical treatment he needs to get back up.
You can also visit ca.movember.com if you want to help in your own way.
Thanks, folks.

Celtics’ Grant Williams Does Post-Game Interview As Batman, Cements Legend Status Thereafter
Last month, on Halloween, the Boston Celtics’ Grant Williams did his post-game interview clad in a bat suit. But, unlike billionaire playboy, Bruce Wayne, the 6’6 power forward isn’t a psycho who pummels crooks with his bare fists at night.
But, he is one big geek, and chances are, he doesn’t care what you think about it (apparently, the man has assigned a superhero nickname to every teammate).
Remember, gentlemen—just dance like no one’s watching.

Is Daylight Savings Time Going Permanent?
Whether or not we continue to change our clocks next spring rests in the hands of the United States Senate. Or not.
Last March, America’s gatekeepers of what is and isn’t legal passed a bill declaring that daylight savings would become permanent after we turned back our clocks this morning at 2:00 a.m. Eastern. But apparently, it hasn’t become official law yet on account of the politicians who promised it taking too long to make it happen. In other news, birds fly.
